Eating Smarter: Using Food Labels to Make Quick & Healthy Choices

with Leslie Ouellette, MS, RD, LD, MPH

Calendar Sep 25, 2017 at 5:30 pm

We know that what we eat is important for our health, but it can be very hard to choose the right foods.

Many of us need to track certain things in the food we eat, like:

  • Sodium
  • Carbohydrates
  • Sugar
  • Fiber
  • Calories
  • Fats

Most of the time we have to read food labels to do this, but those can be confusing and hard to follow.

Leslie will simplify the food label and explain how we can use it to make sense of what is in the foods we eat. Please join us for this informative workshop and learn how to use food labels as tools to enjoy a healthier diet.
