Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Evening Session

The eight-week Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Program is designed to help you cope more effectively with both long and short term stressors. Developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn from the Center for Mindfulness at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center, MBSR has been scientifically proven to enhance the ability to manage and reduce pain levels, and improve focus, resilience and the capacity to recover more quickly from challenging life events.
Instruction involves mindful meditation practices, discussion, gentle stretching and yoga (appropriate for all ability levels).

Please note all 8-week MBSR class participants must attend an Orientation ahead of each session as well as an All-day Saturday retreat toward the end of each session

- Winter Retreat is Saturday, Feb. 29, 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
- Spring Orientation is Tuesday, Apr. 7, 6:00 - 7:00 pm
- Spring Retreat is Saturday, May 16, 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
- Summer Orientation is Tuesday, June 30, 6:00 - 7:00 pm
- Summer Retreat is Saturday, Aug. 15, 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
