Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Online-Wednesdays

The eight-week Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Program is designed to help you cope more effectively with both long and short term stressors. Developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn from the Center for Mindfulness at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center, MBSR has been scientifically proven to enhance the ability to manage and reduce pain levels, and improve focus, resilience and the capacity to recover more quickly from challenging life events.
Instruction involves mindful meditation practices, discussion, gentle stretching and yoga (appropriate for all ability levels).

Orientation: Wednesday, October 14th from 9:30-10:30am
Classes run Wednesdays, October 21st-December 16th from 9:30-12:00pm (skipping the Wednesday before Thanksgiving-Nov. 25th)
Retreat will be Saturday, December 5th
The class will take place through Zoom, an online video conferencing program. You will be emailed the link and instructions prior to the orientation.
